This room is named after an indigenous tree from the Shimba Hills and is located on the top floor of the house. This room is a double en-suite.

The Mvumbo room (a twin room) is named after a palm tree baobab tree and located at the near end on the ground floor of the house. This room is an en-suite.

Pronounced m shay nay

Mchane is the wood used in the original house (the Low Banda) in the early 1900’s and is located on the ground floor of the main house. This room is a double / twin en-suite and the only room with a bath.

This room is named after a special wood that was traditionally used for all the dhows in the country and is located in the Annex (far room).

This room is named a mangrove tree (usually found on coastal inland coves) and is located in the Annex (near room). This is a double / twin en-suite
